On Wednesday, 12th December 2018, DBI held its maiden graduation on the theme “Partners in Spreading the Gospel of Christ far and near”. The Chairperson for the occasion was Pastor Enoch Nyador, the Director for FAME Ghana. He was also the keynote speaker for the event. He gave a speech on missionary work and the need for total commitment to the work of God. He admonished the graduates not to chase after money and fame but rely fully on God for provision. He used his rich experience in the ministry as a practical example for the graduates. Other guests of honor present were Pastor Hayford Ahiabu, the Chairman of Pistis Christian Churches (PCC), Dr. Mrs. Lydia Glover- Nyador, among others.
A total of 16 graduates were passed out during the event most of which are now fully engaged in missionary work all across Ghana.
In his address to the gathering, the director of the Institute, Pastor Mawuli Nyador outlined some challenges the Institute faced but with the partnership with God and other Partners and sponsors, they were able to overcome them. In his speech, he also appealed to philanthropists and other Christian Organizations to extend a helping hand to the Institute, especially in the purchase of library books and computers for students’ use.
